Proactive Cancer Screening

LDCT Abdo/Pelvis

A low-dose CT scan of the abdomen and pelvis used to evaluate internal organs and detect structural abnormalities.

Low-dose CT of the abdomen and pelvis provides cross-sectional imaging of the liver, pancreas, kidneys, spleen, bladder, reproductive structures, and other abdominal and pelvic anatomy. It is used to identify masses, inflammation, or structural issues that would not be visible on routine blood work or physical examination. The low-dose protocol minimizes radiation exposure while preserving diagnostic quality.

At Longevity Tier 2, this scan is included where clinically indicated as part of a proactive imaging approach. At Tier 3, it is replaced by whole-body MRI, which covers the same anatomy (and more) without radiation. Findings are interpreted by a radiologist and reviewed with you by your longevity physician.
