Hereditary cancer testing analyzes a panel of genes associated with meaningfully elevated lifetime cancer risk (including BRCA1, BRCA2, and others relevant to breast, ovarian, colorectal, and other cancers). Testing is a one-time analysis: results remain relevant for life and inform screening frequency, preventative strategies, and, where appropriate, discussions with family members who may share the same genetic background.
Testing is included at the highest tier of the Longevity program. Results are discussed with your longevity physician in the context of your personal and family history. Where findings indicate a clinically significant risk pattern, additional screening intervals or referrals to a medical geneticist or high-risk clinic are arranged as part of your plan.
