Grip strength is one of the simplest and most well-validated predictors of long-term health outcomes in the research literature. It correlates with muscle mass, fall risk, cardiovascular outcomes, and mortality across large cohorts. At the basic level, grip strength testing at Integria uses a calibrated dynamometer and compares your result against age- and sex-normalized reference ranges.
At higher tiers, grip strength is complemented by more detailed strength testing (lower body, upper body, and core assessments using standardized protocols). Results are tracked across the membership year (with one or two repeats depending on tier) so that training is building what it is intended to build. This is run by the clinic Kinesiologist and is included at every tier of both programs.
